...there does seem to be a few habits we have noticed that a lot of Mexicans share:
1. Swimming with clothes on. It's not as if swimwear is expensive, they just seem to prefer going into the sea with their jeans on. Apparently we're not the only ones who were wondering about this - seems it's a popular question in this Ask a Mexican column.
2. Loving street performers. Those losers (performance artists) from Covent Garden that paint themselves silver and stand still blowing a kazoo would be in heaven here. Any idiot with a red nose is guaranteed a decent crowd...
3. Chile in E V E R Y T H I N G. Sure, we like it but they have no control. They put chile powder on fresh fruit (with lime juice and salt too), chile powder on homemade ice-cream, even chiles in cosmetics. Spicy shampoo anyone?
And if you think we're exagurating check out this ice-cream being prepared...the cup has been coated inside with chile powder. Extra chile with that?
