1. TACOS
These had to be number 1 because we eat them every day. they taste good. really good. and they're cheap. really cheap. and come in about 100 different varieties. chicken, pork, beef, roasted beef, roasted pork, fish, beans, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, salsa, sour cream, cheese, fried tortillas, corn tortillas, flour tortillas...
2. huevos rancheros
2 fried eggs on
2 corn tortillas covered with
red chili salsa and
ranchero cheese with
refried beans and
sour cream
nice.
3. skeletons, skulls & other dead stuff
not sure about the whole cultural significance but they look really cool.
4. BEACHES
5. mezcal
(the stuff with the worm in...)
6. chilies
(in EVERYTHING. even McDonalds)
7. sunshine everyday
8. LUCHA LIBRE
The budget is even tighter than the pants
doing our bit for turtle conservation. 1 day old Golfina turtles racing.
10. VW BEETLES
they love 'em. so do we.

Agree with above comment, unless you're missing some tube stress and things like that (and I guess you're not)
No need for saying take care! xxx
OK.. it is 11:30am it's dark, miserable and 10 degrees outside! I have to shot for the next 10 hours but out on the streets of causeway bay. do I wish I was there? of course not, wouldn't want to get burnt on the beach would I? fowk! gotta go get ready... you to update this more often! xxx lets skype! sherm!
Didn't know there were so many different types of tacos- you've opened my eyes :-)
That egg racheros recipe sounds extra yummy.
Love all your pics- such fantastic shots- what an awesome way to spend a year.
Glad you got the sunshine- we've had a month of rain which has started to refill our dams - we were (and still are) on the highest water restrictions- can't use a hose anymore at all or wash your car or water the garden- only allowed to use 140 litres/day per person now. Very dry.
Nick's been making cervaza beer (ala Corona and most Mexican beers)- first batch ready to drink next week - we'll see how it tastes
Enjoy
Jac, Nick and Cam xxx
LUCHA LIBRE masks scare me!So much. Love the Erin and Si shots through the ages, from pasty to frankly quite a dirty shade of brown. Never knew Si had that shade in him. Amazing blogs, the next best thing to seeing it for ourselves. Don't want you to leave, don't know how I will get through the rest of winter without my south american fixes! Andrea x x x
Just seen the tinkerbell shot in Bolivia! Adorable. The cristal and Picasso roused my interest too.... xxx
